Wendy came to us seeking correction of the orthodontics she'd had as a teenager.
Wendy had been treated with orthodontic bite splints and expert orthodontics since the age of 12 for a significantly large dental overjet.
At 20 years of age she has significant breathing issues and exercise intolerance. She has a chronic forward head posture which she finds impossible to correct by “standing up straight”.
Whilst she has not yet developed full OSA, she knows she snores, and she knows her small lower jaw has a big part to play in all of her issues.
Her new orthodontic practitioner suggests that recent advances in orthodontics and jaw surgery offer a significant chance of permanent cure for her airway, bite & posture problems.
