IMDO - International Presentation

IMDO - International Presentation

On Friday 29th May, 2015 Dr Paul Coceancig embarked on a journey to Riga in Latvia, which if you haven't heard of is situated near Lithuania. He has a number of stopovers heading both there and home.

His 5 day trip to get there sees him travel through Singapore, where he will visit his good friend Samin. He will then continue through to Amsterdam to catch up with another good friend Aarnoud, where they can explore the soak in the surrounds and culture together.

From the photos we have seen  he looks like he is having a world of fun!

Why is Dr Coceancig travelling to Riga? Dr Coceancig has been invited to be one of 29 keynote speakers at the BSCOSO (The Second Baltic Sea Conference On Orthognathic Surgery and Orthodontics).

Dr Coceancig will be presenting his revolutionary IMDO procedure, an innovative form of corrective jaw surgery

. His talk is specifically on mandibular lengthening and the treatment of a class II malocclusion with the use of IMDO in growing teenagers and young adults.

Dr Coceancig will also participate in a group discussion regarding his approach to planning the face again in specific relation to the IMDO jaw surgery.

IMDOtm is a revolutionary form of jaw distraction surgery that grows the lower jaw in teenagers and young adults. This creates the space to allow their adult teeth to erupt naturally, avoiding the need to remove healthy teeth, and maximising the potential to keep their wisdom teeth.

If you are interested in learning more about the innovative IMDO procedure don't hesitate to visit the page on our website or give us a phone call on 1300 323 822.
